Organized by the Center for Inclusive Education (CIE) and Best Buddies Benilde (BBB), Inclusion Week 2023, with the theme, “Bridging the Gap: Break the Barrier, Build the Bond!” aims to promote inclusivity in the Benildean community through a series of talks, workshops, games, and performances. The week-long event celebrates the beauty of diversity and the power of inclusion.

The opening ceremony was done today, March 20, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on BBB’s Facebook page, and will be followed by the Benildean Inclusion and Sensitivity Training workshop from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Loop on the 12th floor of the Design and Arts Campus (DAC). The E-Games Valorant Tournament elimination round concludes the day from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Discord.

The next day of the event will be held entirely online. BBB organized an LGBTQIA+ Talk on Zoom from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the E-Games Valorant Tournament semi-final round from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Discord.

The third day of #InclusionWeek2023 begins with a Deaf Awareness Seminar from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Zoom and a mass at the Angelo King International Campus (AKIC) from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. Ending the three-part program, the E-Games Valorant Tournament final round will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and live-streamed on BBB’s Facebook page to announce the winners.

The fourth day of the week features two scheduled activities: a webinar entitled End the R-Word from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Zoom and a First Aid Training Workshop in partnership with Benilde Red Cross Youth Council (BRCYC) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at room B303 at Taft Campus.

On March 24, the week-long event will close with TuneIN Music Therapy from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in rooms A612 and A309 at the Taft Campus and a B-Amplified Concert and closing ceremony from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the DAC cafeteria.
