Spearheaded by the University of the Philippines Association of Chemistry Majors and Enthusiasts (UP ACME), the two-day thesis symposium “Thesis It!,” to be held on Oct. 16 and 23 via Zoom and Facebook live, will once again commence with the aim to guide chemistry undergraduate students on their own thesis endeavors and specializations.

Thesis It! will feature various professors from the Institute of Chemistry of the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD) to discuss their upcoming and ongoing laboratory projects. It will also introduce various chemistry research laboratories found in the UP Institute to undergraduate chemistry students, as well as the adjustments made in the laboratories due to the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreover, with chemistry students from the Institute of Chemistry as its main target, the symposium aims to provide insights to undergraduates on how they will conduct their thesis and aid them in determining their specializations.

Thesis it! Is an annual event spearheaded by the UP ACME which aims to cater sophomores and juniors of the Institute of Chemistry to guide them on their future undergraduate thesis.

For this year, Thesis It! will be conducted online once again on Oct. 16 and 23 via Zoom and Facebook live.
