Benilde Gamers’ Union for Innovation and Leadership Development’s (GUILD) Stream Drive 2021: Streaming Beyond Limits will push artists, gamers, and streamers out of their comfort zones and help the community through a donation drive. The one-week event starts today, May 17, until May 23 via Facebook Live.
As live streaming became a widely used platform to connect with audiences during the pandemic, this year’s Stream Drive 2021 will include individuals from the field of gaming, music, art, and content creation. GUILD aims to encourage Benildean gamers, artists, and streamers to push their boundaries and create quality content.
Last year’s three-day Stream Drive garnered over Php 16,000 from game streaming which was donated to Benildean employees affected by the salary freeze. Stream Drive 2021 will serve as a donation drive in partnership with the College’s Center for Social Action (CSA) for the Benilde Community Pantry and the organization’s chosen beneficiary, SRD Konkokyo Center Inc.
Gamers’ Union for Innovation and Leadership Development is the student organization for Game Design and Development (GDD) and Interactive Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (IEMC) program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, where gamers and gaming developers alike are able to participate in programs and competitions.
