After 13 months, Computer Business Association (CBA) students wrapped up their first season of “INSPIRE: Motivation that Excited” podcast. With fans anticipating another season, the hosts assured that there will be more inspirational talks and fun-filled podcast sessions and videos in the upcoming second season.
As they internationally amassed hundreds of viewers, CBA crafted a community and an epicenter of those who are seeking inspiration and advice through these troubling times of which the organization plans to continue their adherence in the next few months.
The next big step for the team
In an interview with The Benildean, INSPIRE team Edzer Aaron, Sabrina Suarez, and Hans William said the second season is already at the stage of planning, with a fresh new set of featured guests and hosts.
"It’s actually a continuation of what we started. The goal of the show is still the same, which is to continue inspiring other people to do what they want and to step out of their comfort zone,” Suarez said.
Of the first season’s 12 guests, professionals from different sectors, some included mental health care advocate Beatriz Gonzales, graphic designer and missionary Patrick Condez, and the indie duo pop band "C X A" consisting of Christian Koch and Aren Anderson from Nashville, Tennessee. The team is racking up a new roster of professionals that are ready to provide advice, stories, and tips to the audience.
They will also be implementing new fun twists to their live podcast sessions, and fresh new content such as regular postings on their official Facebook page.
“We're thinking of different ways to deliver these stories from our guests to the audience and to make it more interactive [while we] still keep our goal and maintain the content we want to share,” Aaron said.
Included in their big change is their separation from CBA by having their own official Facebook page and Youtube channel. Meanwhile, CBA will still support them through marketing.
“As a team, we were also inspired to continue this show and to continue what we’re doing wherever and whenever we are,” Aaron stated.
Continuation of instilling hope for others
Suarez was also proud of how they reminded viewers that goals are never far from reach as long as people strive for it.
“I think that our viewers learn throughout the session is that your story is different from theirs, but it doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to achieve what you want,” Suarez exclaimed while explaining the significance of the show.
The INSPIRE team was motivated to continue the podcast because of the impact towards people who are looking for advice and guidance through this unprecedented pandemic, as each session provided different stories, tips, and answers from various industries.
“The fact that they actually asked us to continue even though we didn’t expect it to blow up [shows] that we are apparently reaching more people than we thought we could,” Suarez said.
The feedback they received was an immense response of thankfulness towards each episode as it was evident through the diversity of each guest showing different sides and perspectives of people in various industries.
“[Based] on [a] feedback we received, we actually even helped someone with starting up a business after listening to one of the podcast sessions which was with Aikel Fortaleza, so for me, that’s enough growth that the show really helped the audience somehow,” William stated.
With the support from CBA, which they utilized and partnered with for airing most of the episodes, along with special guests who were willing to share their stories, and fans anticipating for every podcast session, it forged a foundation for them to provide people with a boost of determination for their goals in life, of which the team are even more excited for a whole new journey they’ll embark on the next season.
“Out of all the diversity of our guests that [were] featured, the concept is still there. You know to inspire others in every way that we can [to] touch their lives, it's really amazing what INSPIRE did to us and to other people,” Aaron stated.
"INSPIRE: Motivation that Excites" is an official podcast planned and produced by Benilde’s CBA members that uses their platform to promote artists, such as content creators, streamers, musicians and everything in between, at the same time provide stories and tips of inspiration to the masses.
