Benilde crowned as NCAA general champions


The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde was officially crowned as the general champions of the 89th National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) season, as the season officially concluded at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 6.

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde was officially crowned as the general champions of the 89th National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) season, as the season officially concluded at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 6.

Benilde was able to edge out San Beda College with a tight deficit of six points to claim this season’s general championship title.

 

Along with the concluding rites, the NCAA cheerleading competition also took place at the Arena, with the University of Perpetual Health Systems Perp Squad extending their championship streak to five (480.5), whilst the College’s own Benilde Pep Squad bowed out at seventh place (415.5).
