Calling all bookworms: The most anticipated book event in the Philippines is back! The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) invites creators and dreamers alike to “Get Lit!” as it makes its bold and exciting return at the SMX Convention Center Manila on Sept. 10 to 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

MIBF 2025 promises an engaging experience for all as it shares “Stories in Every Form,” continuing its mission to make narratives and knowledge accessible through both quality and affordability. Immerse yourself in two enticing floors brimming with books, talks, and workshops!

Alongside them, indie and academic exhibitors like The Indie Publishers Collab PH and Ateneo de Manila University Press are set to highlight the freshest voices in Philippine literature and academic writing. International names are also joining the event—Penguin Random House, Cengage Learning Asia, and Gale are among the top publishers globally, known for their diverse range of literary titles and education resources.

This year’s return of the country’s biggest and bestselling book fair is promised to be packed with more exciting exhibits that will keep the book-bees buzzing. Tickets for the Manila International Book Fair are now officially on sale, with prices ranging from ₱50 for general admissions and ₱35 for students, senior citizens, and PWDs. Free entrance passes can be acquired by scanning QR codes or clicking links provided by participating authors and exhibitors on their social media pages.

A recap of MIBF 2024

Last year, the Manila International Book Fair was held from Sept. 11 to 15, also at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Both local and international exhibitors lined up both floors of the event, along with eye-catching booth installations from different publishers. Big household names, such as National Book Store and Fully Booked, took part in the long-awaited event alongside first-time indie authors and komikeros. Aside from book exhibits, the event also featured informative seminars, exclusive book signings, and a boundless range of stationery items.
