Brought to Taft by Yuri Jhaps A. Lopez, an ID123 student from the Film (ABFILM) program and his sibling Yvon Jasher A. Lopez, a student from the De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D). This casual, vibrant, diner-inspired restaurant was born from the brothers' cherished family memories and their parents' encouragement to open a restaurant of their own. Their goal of recreating that familiar feeling among friends is reflected through their food and activities.
Family roots
The siblings recalled their childhood as a major inspiration for the restaurant’s overall vibe and menu. Yuri explains in an interview with The Benildean, “I don't know if you're familiar with Primoz, it also sells unli wings. Maybe that's where we got the idea. We also like chicken. We also like unli foods.” Additionally, they expressed that they like family dinners. The concept of unlimited food would be worthwhile for students, especially the ones coming in big groups.
As a Benilde student, Yuri understood the challenge of searching for a comfortable place to spend long breaks between classes or to simply catch up with friends. He shared that he used to spend his free hours in the library just to pass time, inspiring him to open a FoodMob branch where students could unwind during their breaks. With the help of his friends, who shared their feedback on the space and the food, Yuri was able to shape the restaurant into the student-friendly place he envisioned.
The sibling owners shared that at FoodMob, there is another way to pass time waiting for food. Instead of simply sitting and anticipating food, customers can bond with their friends through the board games they offer or enjoy the video game machine filled with familiar childhood games. They hope to bring back the memories of playing as kids while waiting for their parents to finish preparing dinner—bonding with their friends and creating lasting memories.
All kinds of chicken
FoodMob has a wide array of flavors for both chicken wings and boneless chicken buckets, through its best-selling flavors. Mango Habañero offers a blend of tropical sweetness and a kick of spice. Another crowd favorite is the famous Korean sticky-sweet Gochujang-glazed, Yangnyeom chicken. For those craving more complex flavors, Cajun has the earthy-rustic depth of herbs and a hint of spice, while the New York Buffalo delivers moderately spicy, tangy, and buttery undertones, giving it that bold yet satisfying taste.

This restaurant boasts its Best Smash Burger in the Metro for the starting price of ₱145, featuring rich Angus beef with tangy dill pickles, sweetness from the Oklahoma style caramelized onions, and their secret FoodMob sauce. They also have meatier variants with two patties for the Double Smash Burger selling for ₱225 and three patties for the Triple Trump Smash Burger priced at ₱305.
Mobbed by pasta
For their choices of pasta, they offer three different sets. Their Black Pepper Alfredo is a comforting blend of creamy indulgence and subtle spice. At just ₱149, the pasta is generously coated in velvety alfredo sauce, while the aromatic pepper adds a gentle touch that cuts through the richness, resulting in a flavorful dish that leaves customers reaching for another bite.
Their Black Truffle Pasta is another option customers can choose. Generously coated in rich and creamy sauce, each bite delivers the distinct earthy flavor that truffle lovers crave. FoodMob elevates the dish with its own blend of seasonings, adding depth and a subtle kick that complements the sauce without overpowering it. Lastly, the Black Olive Pasta makes each bite offer a savory, slightly briny flavor with a subtle tang that beautifully complements its creamy sauce.
