A new journey awaits as INTERAKTIV 1.0 welcomes confirmed ID126 Frosh and transferees into the Benildean community. Taking place at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s Design and Arts (D+A) Campus on Aug. 19 to 20 and Aug. 24 to 25, the event will bring students together through assigned morning sessions from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and afternoon sessions from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., based on their respective programs.
Organized annually by the student volunteer organization Student Trainers (STRAINS) under the Center for Student Life-Student Involvement Unit (CSL-SIU), INTERAKTIV serves as an orientation and welcome program designed to introduce new students to the Benildean community. Beyond providing essential information about Benildean life, campus spaces, offices, culture, and student organizations, the event also offers incoming students a first formal opportunity to connect with members of the College.
This year, INTERAKTIV 1.0 takes on an island adventure concept under the theme, “Courage: Discovering Who You Will Become.” Inspired by the fictional world of Ever Harbor, the event invites Frosh and transferees to step beyond the familiar and embrace the experiences that come with beginning a new chapter at Benilde.
INTERAKTIV also aims to provide new Frosh with a glimpse into Benildean student life through an interactive orientation covering the institution’s background, policies, services, and Lasallian Mission. It encourages students to build connections through group dynamics and activities while becoming more familiar with the traditions and community of which they are now a part of.
Although attendance is not mandatory, Frosh and transferees are warmly encouraged to come along and make the most of their first Benildean experience. As the event has limited slots each day, be sure to register ahead of time, save a spot, and begin the journey with the community.
For those getting ready to set sail, don’t forget to come dressed appropriately for the event! In line with the institution’s Dress Code Policy, students are encouraged to wear a green shirt and dress comfortably for the day. Rubber shoes or other closed-toe footwear are recommended to make moving around the event more comfortable and safe.
As the first step into the Benildean journey draws closer, incoming Frosh are invited to wander into wonder, meet their new community, and begin discovering the person they are becoming!
The INTERAKTIV 1.0 website is set to launch on Aug. 14, with further event updates available through the Student Trainers’ official media pages. Join the conversation through #INTERAKTIV2026 and #WanderIntoWonder as we get closer to the big day!
