Benildeans looking for employment, internship opportunities, or career guidance can connect with industry partners at the Benilde Job Fair 2026, happening on July 14 and 15 at the 5/F Augusto-Rosario Gonzales Theater (ARG), Taft Campus.

Organized by the Career Placement Unit (CPU), the two-day event aims to connect students and alumni with employers while providing opportunities to explore different career paths and prepare for the workforce.

Registration will be conducted onsite at Greenway, Taft Campus, where attendees will be assisted according to their category: current students, graduating students, alumni, or career explorers. While no pre-registration is required for most attendees, CSBGRAD students may accomplish the RSVP form posted on BeSpark.

This year’s Job Fair will feature 15 participating companies from a range of industries: Gingersnaps; Nice Print Photo Inc.; Standard Insurance Co., Inc.; China Banking Corporation; Alveo Land Corp.; Ascendion Digital Solutions Philippines; White Cloak Technologies, Inc.; Federal Land NRE Global Inc.; Megaworld Global-Estate Inc.; Keyence Philippines Inc.; Nestlé Philippines; J.P. Morgan; Expeditors Philippines Inc.; Accenture Inc.; Megaworld at The Fort (Megaworld Corporation).

Beyond company booths, students can also access support services from the Social Security System (SSS), Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industriya at Gobyerno (PAG-IBIG) Fund, and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to help attendees begin processing employment requirements.

In an exclusive interview with The Benildean, Mr. Joshua Rosales, Head of the CPU, said face-to-face conversations remain one of the biggest advantages of attending a job fair despite the accessibility of online applications. He encouraged students to look beyond familiar organizations and engage with companies they may not have previously considered.

The Job Fair welcomes students from all year levels, as well as alumni. While graduating students may immediately benefit from available job openings, Mr. Rosales emphasized that career preparation should begin long before graduation. By attending early, students can learn what employers are looking for, explore internship opportunities, and identify skills they still have time to develop before entering the workforce.

For first-time attendees, Mr. Rosales recommends bringing multiple copies of an updated resume, researching participating companies, and preparing questions about available roles, workplace culture, and career opportunities. He also encouraged students to come in neat and presentable attire, noting that while business formal clothing is not required, appearing professional helps create a positive first impression.

Carrying the theme “Jumpstart Your Next Move,” this year’s Job Fair aims to encourage students to take initiative as they navigate an evolving job market. Mr. Rosales said the event is intended to provide opportunities to explore, build confidence, and discover possible career paths.

“You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin,” Mr. Rosales said. “What matters is that you start somewhere, take that step with intention, and remain open to learning.”

As students prepare to attend, Mr. Rosales reminded Benildeans not to measure success solely by receiving a job offer. Meaningful outcomes, he said, can also include discovering unfamiliar industries, gaining advice from recruiters, or becoming more confident in professional settings.

“You do not need to see the entire path before you move forward,” he said. “Sometimes you just need enough courage to take the next move.”
