De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), through the Center for Inclusive Education (CIE), will hold Inclusion Week 2026 from March 16 to 22, bringing together students, faculty, associates, and partners in activities promoting accessibility, diversity, and belonging across the campus.

This year’s celebration marks a milestone as Inclusion Week expands its activities to the Benilde Antipolo Campus for the first time, allowing more members of the Benildean community to participate in programs that promote accessibility and inclusive engagement.

The week-long event, with the theme “BeForAll: Strengthening Belongingness Together,” aims to raise awareness about inclusive practices and highlight the experiences and contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including persons with disabilities and members of the Deaf community.

A week of fun and community

The celebration will begin on March 16 with the Inclusion Week Opening Ceremonies, streamed on the CIE Facebook page, followed by a Mass at the Atrium Chapel. The day will also feature the “End the R Word” Booth at the 12th floor of the Design and Arts (D+A) Campus, encouraging members of the community to reflect on respectful language and disability inclusion awareness. The opening day will conclude with Sportsfest: Futsal at the Taft Open Court.

Activities continue on March 17, when the advocacy booth returns at the D+A Campus. Programs will also be held at the Benilde Antipolo Campus, including Kapwa Care: Kasali, Kasalo, at Katuwang sa Ugnayang Pangkomunidad and the Benildean Inclusion and Sensitivity Workshop, both aimed at promoting empathy and inclusive participation. The day will conclude with Sportsfest: 3x3 Basketball at the Sports and Dorm Complex.

On March 18, participants may attend the Visual Gestural Communication Workshop facilitated by the School of the Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS) and First Aid Training conducted by the Center for Health and Medical Services (CHMS) at the D+A Campus Contemplation Room. The evening will feature Sportsfest: Volleyball at the Taft Open Court.

The celebration continues on March 19 with Benildean Inclusion Stories: Women’s Story of Strength and Inclusion, an online session highlighting the journeys and achievements of women within the Benilde community as part of the observance of National Women’s Month. The day will conclude with Sportsfest: Pickleball at the Sandejas Gym.

Lastly, Inclusion Week 2026 will culminate on March 22 with the Friendship Walk, organized with Best Buddies Philippines, at the BGC Amphitheater, High Street. The event will bring together members of the Benildean community and partner organizations in a shared activity celebrating friendship and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Members of the Benildean community are encouraged to participate in the week’s activities as the College continues to strengthen a campus culture where diversity is valued and inclusion is practiced in everyday interactions.

CIE will lead the week, in partnership with Best Buddies Benilde (BBB) and several offices across the College, including the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics, the Office of the Vice President for Lasallian Mission and Student Life, and the Office of the Vice President for Lasallian Mission and Student Life–Gender and Development. Additional partners include the Benilde Antipolo Campus Lasallian Mission and Student Life, the Antipolo Campus Psychology Department, the School of the Deaf Education and Applied Studies, the Center for Health and Medical Services, the Center for Sports Development, and Best Buddies Philippines.
