Benilde racks up School of the Year nomination in Quill Awards with 66 wins


With its 66 winning entries, Benilde is once again in the running for the coveted School of the Year title at the 11th Philippine Student Quill Awards.

Following its back-to-back victory as School of the Year in the 9th and 10th Student Quill Awards, IABC Philippines announced via email on Aug. 20 that De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) secured another School of the Year nomination with its 66 winning entries.

 

Student-journalists from the Student Publications Unit (SPU) made waves with the 63 winning entries under their belt, while student-artists from the Culture and Arts Unit (CAU) were recognized for their three entries.

 

The prestigious School of the Year distinction, together with the Top Awards across all categories, will be revealed and conferred during the awarding ceremony happening on Aug. 27 at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel. Each award’s classification, whether Merit or Excellence, will also be determined.

Meanwhile, in the 21st Philippine Quill Awards, wherein professionals in the industry compete, DLS-CSB also won for its entry “The Benilde Book.” The winning entry was submitted under Division 4: Communication Skills, Category 24: Publications.

 

Recognized as one of the country’s most prestigious awards programs, the Philippine Quill Awards honor excellence in the field of business communication.

 

Every year, the Philippine Quill Awards and Student Quill Awards celebrate excellence in communication, research, programs, skills, and creativity.
