Following the release of Shades of Gray, the official art and design folio of the students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, an exhibit of the folio’s selected entries awaits your attendance at the Greenway Square, Taft Campus on March 24 with a launch from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Created by the Benildean Press Corps (BPC), under the Student Publications Unit, the exhibit was made in collaboration with the Center for Campus Art (CCA).

This edition of Shades of Gray is themed “Solstice,” and is the 27th issue of the said folio. It contains a range of earnest prose and poetry on the in-betweens of life. With this year’s theme revolving around the experiences of time, whether reflecting on moments passing by or pondering on what-ifs, Solstice is an amalgamation of unique stories all submitted from different corners of the College by students of various backgrounds.

Welcoming the exhibit

The exhibit will feature the entries that have most specially represented life’s moments of transition, however tranquil or tumultuous they may be. Open to all, the exhibit invites everyone to be part of the opening program and witness the live reading session by the very writers of the folio.

Look forward to the commencement as it will also include a number of performances to celebrate and welcome everyone’s attendance.

Here to stay

Secure your physical copies of Shades of Gray: Solstice, and take the time to visit the exhibit, an immortalization of how the College’s students come together in the name of literature.

The folio can also be accessed digitally at https://bit.ly/sogsolstice. The exhibit will remain open until June 21, 2025.
