With the goal of motivating a generation of change and producing optimistic and business-minded professionals, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU) Chapter will be launching their annual “EXCEED Accounting Challenge and Convention” on May 21 to 29 via Zoom and Facebook Live.

“EXCEED2022” was created by the JPIA to empower aspiring certified public accountants (CPAs) and business leaders to create a bigger impact in the industry while instilling integrity, perseverance, and critical thinking to all its participants. This year’s activities center around the theme of “Recalibrating the Norm: Augmenting Integrity and Business Synergy.”

The event consists of an Accounting Challenge which will feature a business case competition, a quiz bee, and a virtual amazing race. On the other hand, the Accounting Convention will be hosting a plenary, simultaneous classes, and a symposium. This event will be gathering the best and the brightest business and accountancy students while also featuring speakers from different specializations.

This year marks the 11th year JPIA will be hosting this event. Since 2022, it has earned multiple event recognitions, namely; the Most Outstanding Academic Program/Contest (2020) and the Most Outstanding Convention/Conference (2021) by the DLSU Council of Student Organizations Award Giving Bodies, and Best Local Chapter Activity (2021) by the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants.

JPIA is the official and professional organization of accountancy students in De La Salle University. It is currently in their 66th year of providing quality and relevant programs to its stakeholders.
