Benilde dominates 8th Student Quill Awards with 25 wins


Students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde triumphed yet again in the student arm of the annual Quill Awards, garnering 25 awards from different categories.

With the release of winners of the much awaited 8th Student Quill Awards today, Feb. 19, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde showed its excellence in the field of media and communication by harboring 25 wins under its belt.

Now in its 8th year, the Philippine Student Quill Awards, established by IABC Philippines, will be commencing its Virtual Awards Night in March 2021, where the winners will be recognized and awarded. Each award will be revealed to either have an Award of Excellence or Award of Merit on the said awards night. The major awards, including “School of the Year” and the “Top Award,” will also be named on the said date.

This year’s theme was “Arise,” and featured a special category related to communication about the COVID-19 pandemic called “COVIDCOMMS.” 

According to the IABC, there were 800 entries combined in this year’s 18th Philippine Quill Awards, which honors professionals, and the 7th Student Quill Awards.

The Philippine Quill Awards honors exemplary business communication research, programs, and creative work. In this annual awarding ceremony, professionals and students across the country are recognized and lauded for their work and dedication in the business communication industry.
