MEDIARTRIX-UST, the student-run, multimedia organization of and for art enthusiasts of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), will take audiences through an adventure that surely hits home with their silver anniversary production “Stages; Impossible Crossroads,” premiering on March 4 and 12 via Facebook and YouTube.

From a wandering path

Streaming on the organization’s Facebook and YouTube accounts, “Stages; Impossible Crossroads” will delve into two parallel stories of finding purpose. Told from the perspective of the youth, the production will take audiences through the pain of wandering aimlessly through life.

Ultimately, the production leads viewers into an arc of self-transcendence一finding a place to call home and learning to grow into the person who does not simply fit in. Eventually, the show leads the audience into a state of self-transcendence where they can see themselves becoming the person that the home nurtures and accepts. It's a story that hits home on a personal level; both for Mediartrix-UST and for the members that make up the organization.

With a number of talented individuals behind the production and its prioritization of intra-personal connection with its audience members and their personal stories, “Stages; Impossible Crossroads” is bound to be an unforgettable production that resonates with audiences long after the curtains have closed.

With over half a dozen productions under their belt, including a run of the critically-acclaimed Broadway musical comedy-drama “Legally Blonde,” and the hip hop musical “William” from local theater legend Ron Capinding一it is no doubt that “Stages; Impossible Crossroads” will be a phenomenal and truly personal production.
